By far, the two places I go to most frequently are Yamnuska and Prairie Mtn. Both are close to home and provide a quick outing when time doesn't permit for longer trips.
Yam has lots to offer - standard hiking; more difficult scramble sections and of course the infamous chain traverse.
Prairie Mtn is really just a steep hike but it's a great place to get a solid workout. Getting to the summit as quick as possible has become a bit of an obsession. My goal is to get to the summit in as many minutes (or less) than my age in years.
Some of the better photos I've taken can be found in my Google Photos Favorites album.
